Types of interpreting
Sworn (court) interpreting
An interpreter registered with the Slovak Ministry of Justice is required, for example, when marrying a foreign national, signing documents before a notary, in court or at the police.
Consecutive interpreting
The interpreter translates in segments whenever the speaker pauses. Ideal for business negotiations, work meetings, training and visits.
Simultaneous interpreting
Interpreters work in a booth and translate in real time. Used at conferences and larger events, normally in pairs and with interpreting equipment.
Remote and escort interpreting
Video calls and online meetings, or accompanying you on company visits, at the doctor or at public offices.
What to tell us
The language, date, place, expected duration and topic. For official procedures, also which office it will take place at. The earlier we know the date, the easier it is to secure the right interpreter.
